quiet and get your cameras ready! Blackhills
wants your wildlife photos for our competition.
Whether your a Scout, Brownie or Leader and
you've managed to snap-shot any wildlife during
your stay or day visit, send them in to us!
Over the past few months we've had sightings of
Deer, Bird of Prey, Foxes and Rabbits on the
campsite.
Who
can participate?
There are three age groups:
6-10 years
10-18 years
18+ years
When do we
send pictures in?
Entries can be
submitted at any time during the year. Winners
in the above age groups will be selected
every
season during the year.
What
pictures do we want?
The judges are
looking for Digital photographs taken on the
campsite of any wildlife.
What will
the pictures be used for?
Photos sent will
go into an exhibition in the Joseph Eaton Centre
and on the campsite's website.
By
having this competition, we hope visitors to the
site will appreciate, and enjoy learning about
the wildlife while having fun at the same time.
The competition is FREE to
enter. Entries can be submitted by e-mail to:

The submitted e-mail must have the following
information:
Name of Photographer (If the photographer is
under 18, the name of a parent must also be
included).
Age of Photographer
Contact Telephone Number
Cub/Scout/Brownie/Guide District
Cub/Scout/Brownie/Guide Group
Name of Section Leader
Reason for visiting the Campsite (Summer Camp,
Backwoods Cooking etc.)
Please read the conditions of entry below.
Entrants may only submit their own work. By
submitting a photograph you grant Blackhills
Scout Campsite the right to publish and use your
photographs - Copyright will however remain with
the photographer. Your entry must be entirely
your own original work
and not defame anybody nor
infringe any copyright.
The judges decision will be final and no
correspondence can be entered into. All entrants
agree to their name being published if selected
for publication. By entering, entrants will be
deemed to have agreed to be bound by these
rules.
